Robin Yassin-Kassab, commentator on Syria and the Middle East and the author of the novel The Road From Damascus, and Leila Al-Shami, human rights activist in Syria, co-authors of Middle East Burning Country: Syrians in Revolution and War (Pluto Press, 2016), offer ground-up analysis of the military, political and humanitarian facets of the Syrian crisis.
