Temporary Restraining Orders Issued Against NY Vaccine Requirements

COVID-19 vaccine requirements in New York are facing serious pushback. Two temporary restraining orders were issued Tuesday against employee requirements due to take effect in the coming weeks.

A federal judge upstate blocked Governor Kathy Hochul's administration from instituting a full vaccine mandate for hospital workers and staff at nursing homes in the state.

A separate injunction from the New York Supreme Court  New York City's vaccine requirements for city employees, including school staff.
