In January, the band called Th1rt3en, led by rapper Pharoahe Monch, released a bracing, left-of-center album called A Magnificent Day For An Exorcism. But of course it was during a pandemic so they couldn’t follow it up with live shows – though they did do a remote set for WNYC’s All Of It. Th1rt3en, featuring Monch, guitarist Marcus Machado, and drummer Daru Jones, plays its first official live show at Quantum Nightclub in Brooklyn on Thursday, Aug. 26.
