The Shanghai Quartet

The Shanghai Quartet joins host Robert Sherman in a program of chamber music. Works include Shostakovich's String Quartet No. 7 in F-sharp minor, Op. 108, and the String Quartet in F major, Op. 18 No. 1 by Beethoven.

The program, sponsored by Marine Midland Bank, was recorded at the New York Times Auditorium before a studio audience.
