When singer and rapper Theophilus London released his first recordings back around 2010, it seemed inevitable that he’d be the next big thing. He worked with Kanye West and began making inroads into the world of fashion, with Virgil Abloh and Kurt Lagerfeld. But then he split from his record label, claimed several major hacks of his social media, and in 2022 was reported missing by his family. Found safe and well a few months later, London has been slow to return to music. But his Instagram promises that on April 29, “I'll retell my story, then share what I've learned about myself during my time away from the game.” Theophilus London returns to live performance on April 29 at National Sawdust.
