Tina Howe Returns To Theater With 'Singing Beach'

Tony Award-nominee and two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist Tina Howe discusses her first full-length play in almost eight years, “Singing Beach.” It tells the story of a Massachusetts-based family preparing for an approaching Category 4 hurricane, and touches on themes like climate change, aging and the power of imagination.

"Singing Beach" runs through Aug. 12 at the HERE Arts Center (145 Sixth Ave., at Dominick St.).
