The band Phish has just released a new album, but that’s not what I wanted to tell you about today. Although Phish has always been closely associated with its home state of Vermont, the band’s lead singer and guitarist, Trey Anastasio, is currently living here in New York. Which means that he’s living in his apartment, cooped up like most of us. But he’s been making good use of his enforced break from touring, and over the past couple of weeks he’s been releasing songs that he’s written, played, and released online right there in his home. The latest one reflects the current mood but also has a streak of hope. Here's "Lonely Trip," by Trey Anastasio, one of the songs he’s released via his Instagram, while staying at home.Â
