The Leonard Lopate Show | Apr 28, 2017

Min Kym joins us to discuss her memoir, Gone: A Girl, a Violin, a Life Unstrung. Kym was a violin prodigy who won her first international prize at age 11. After she purchased a 1696 Stradivarius, her career blossomed as she began recording and touring the world. But 10 years later, her violin was stolen, and the loss changed her life, music and career forever.

Min Kym will appear in conversation with Susan Cain at the Strand (828 Broadway, at 12th St.) on May 1 at 7 p.m.
