London is full of really gifted choirs, but this one really stands out. They're called VOCES8 - no bonus points for guessing how many voices are in the group - and what sets them apart is their wide-ranging repertoire, from modern classics to medieval music to Massive Attack, and the way they bring other choruses into their concerts and online presentations. Their recent series called Live from London Christmas '21 saw VOCES8 performing, and presenting the Kings Singers, the American group The Crossing, and many others. This recent series, which includes a Handel Messiah, is available to watch on demand until Jan. 6, 2002.
