Graham Allison, director of Harvard Kennedy School's Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, joins us to discuss his book Destined for War: Can America and China Escape Thucydides's Trap? Allison looks at parallels in history to explain the relationship between U.S. and China. He argues that war between the two superpowers can be avoided. 

Graham will appear at 92nd Street Y (1395 Lexington Ave., E 42nd St.) on Wednesday, May 31st, in conversation with General Petraeus.
