What The Books We Read Say About Us

The Leonard Lopate Show | May 16, 2017

Pamela Paul, author and editor of The New York Times Book Review, joins us to discuss her new book My Life with Bob: Flawed Heroine Keeps Book of Books, Plot Ensues. She writes about a journal she's kept for 28 years that lists every book she's ever read. She calls it her Book of Books or Bob. Paul examines how individual books shaped her life, and muses about a reader's relationship with books.

Pamela Paul will appear in conversation with Frank Bruni on June 8 at 7:00 p.m. at the Barnes & Noble 82nd & Broadway (2289 Broadway New York).
