What Do Astronauts Eat?

Food scientist Lisa Mauer talks about working with astronauts to develop food for people in space. She'll also discuss food safety and other research in food science. She's professor in Purdue University’s Deparment. of Food Science, a member of Purdue’s Whistler Center for Carbohydrate Research, and director of Purdue’s Center for Food Safety Engineering. This year she received the Institute of Food Technologists’ Marcel Loncin Research Prize.
