What the Media Don't Get About Gun Owners

On the Media | Jun 23, 2016

Despite some estimates that nearly a third of adults in the US own firearms, guns and gun culture are rarely featured in mainstream media unless there has been a mass shooting or other violent crime. For the majority of the gun owning community who will never commit a violent crime, this can feel like an intentional smear and a sign that the media have no respect or interest in their way of life.

Brooke talks with Kevin Michalowski, executive editor of Concealed Carry Magazine and host of "Into the Fray," about the side of gun ownership that he knows and that the media don't show: those gun owners who are committed to safety and responsibility and use deadly force only when completely necessary.
