Amanda Aronczyk, a reporter for WNYC’s Only Human health podcast, and Elaine Chen, project manager of Only Human, discuss their project about anxiety, stress and the 2016 presidential election. The team at Only Human has been collecting saliva samples over the past few weeks and measuring cortisol levels in an effort to determine at how anxious we became while watching the presidential debates, and how stress affects the way we vote.
