WQXR's Artist Propulsion Lab Violinist Kelly Hall-Tompkins on WNYC's Morning Edition

With performance venues closed during the pandemic, many musicians are struggling. Now our sister station, WQXR, is trying to help offset some of that disruption, with a project they call the "Artist Propulsion Lab." As part of the project, we're hearing some of the artists' music on Tuesday mornings on Morning Edition. Today, we're featuring several pieces by violinist Kelly Hall-Tompkins. She spoke with WNYC's Michael Hill about her musical career, the pandemic, and being the Fiddler on the Roof.
