Melody’s Echo Chamber is a project led by the French singer and songwriter Melody Prochet. Over the years, she’s worked with leading musicians from places as far-flung as Australia and Sweden, although her songs often seem like they might be trying to escape from the planet entirely. Her dreamy, cosmic pop has elements of 60s psychedelia as well as the expansive musical palette of a Burt Bacharach. Melody Prochet has only made four albums over fourteen years, so seeing her band live is not a common occurrence. She’s playing tomorrow night, on May 15, at Webster Hall.
