Yacine Boularès Quartet at LunÀtico
July 13, 9PM and 10:15PM. $10.

Yacine Boularès is a sax player, but more than that he is a kind of emblem of the modern globetrotting artist. A French-Tunisian musician now based here in New York, Boularès has played in projects that mix jazz with the sounds of Cameroonian, Haitian, and medieval Moorish music.  And of course much of his work includes his own roots in North African music as well. Yacine Boularès leads a quartet that uses both North and West African rhythms in a show on Monday, July 13 at LunAtico.
