Friendship at Elsewhere

The band called Friendship did indeed start as a bunch of friends getting together in Maine, near a town called Friendship. But their professional career didn’t begin until they moved to Philadelphia in 2015. Since then they’ve released five albums of heartfelt, sometimes heartbreaking, indie rock, often with an expansive sonic landscape that belies their urban roots. They play on Tuesday night, May 19th, at Elsewhere.
