Meshell Ndegeocello & Samora Pinderhughes at BAM

Oct. 23 | 7:30 pm | $58+

Meshell Ndegeocello is many things: a singer, songwriter, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, and above all, a bassist with a liquid, funky sound.  She is also a multiple Grammy-winner and a pioneer of the neo-soul movement. What she is not is a pop superstar. Ndegeocello has certainly traveled in those circles, playing with Madonna, The Rolling Stones, and others, but she’s been committed to independent music-making and moving freely among jazz, pop, funk, and more. She shares the stage with musician and filmmaker Samora Pinderhughes tonight, on October 23, at BAM.
