The singer, songwriter, and actor Ryan Bingham won an Oscar and a Grammy for the song “The Weary Kind” which he wrote for the 2009 film Crazy Heart. He also had a small onscreen role. Other film work followed, and nowadays, you might know him from the hit TV series Yellowstone, where he had a recurring role as Walker. All this might explain why it’s been something like 7 years since his last LP; but Ryan Bingham is back with a new album, They Call Us The Lucky Ones. He's our guest on today's episode of Soundcheck, our twice weekly podcast, available wherever you get podcasts.
