Looped In NYC: Is NYC's tap water really the best in the world?

New Yorkers always say their city is the best in everything - from the food scene to the walkability of the city to yes, even the best tap water.  

Even the city’s environmental protection website prides itself in having “the best tap water in the world.” What exactly makes tap water good quality?

All Things Considered producer Elizabeth Shwe investigated whether this was really true for this week’s Looped In NYC newsletter and talked with WNYC's Sean Carlson more about it.
