In Season: summer squash

Summer squash season offers much more than zucchini. You can find pattypan squash, zephyr squash, and so much more. 

Amelia Tarpey, Program and Publicity Manager for Grow NYC Greenmarkets, says summer squash is going for about $2 to $5 dollars a pound at local farmers' markets.
