The second edition of The Encyclopedia of New York City (Yale University Press) is newly published. Hear about some of the tidbits of city lore each week in December. This week: executive editor Lisa Keller goes through some of the entries added since the first edition fifteen years ago, from "September 11" to "Pale Male."
