The musical Grey Gardens, which is up for several Tony awards next week, is adapted from a cult-favorite documentary about two socialites – mother and daughter -- who refuse to leave their decrepit, filthy mansion. Christine Ebersole stars in the Broadway production -- she and composer Scott Frankel tell Kurt why the story continues to fascinate audiences.
