In Studio: Phosphorescent

Soundcheck | Mar 14, 2011

Phosphorescent is the songwriting project of Matthew Houck, a Brooklynite by way of Athens, GA, and, before that, Auburn, AL. He has a Southern outlaw folk sensibility – Phosphorescent’s 2009 album To Willie, was a tribute to Willie Nelson. But his most recent release, 2010’s Here’s To Taking It Easy, is entirely his own. Phosphorescent joins us in studio for a live performance.
