During our recent look back at New York’s old Palladium concert hall, our listener Janny1006 from Jersey City recalled spotting Queen frontman Freddie Mercury “by the coat check, in spandex pants, with no underwear.” Of course, Mercury’s outrageous style was outdone only by his commanding stage presence and soaring voice.
