In Studio: Xylopholks

Soundcheck | May 6, 2011

Street musicians have to find ways to grab your attention. If you’ve seen the Xylopholks before in the subway or at the Union Square farmer’s market, you probably haven’t forgotten them. The ensemble plays novelty ragtime music from the 1920s – while wearing furry animal costumes. They join guest host Jeff Spurgeon of WQXR to play live in our studio.
