Over the years, 19 Bryant Avenue in Roslyn, New York was a funeral home, a courthouse, a bowling alley. But in the 1970s, it was Long Island’s premiere music hall. Today, we revisit our Vanished Venues series, with a look back at the rock club, My Father’s Place. Plus: Cellist Mike Block joins us with other musicians from GALA NYC, a new Brooklyn concert series, to perform live.
