In Studio: The Sweetback Sisters

There aren’t any blood relatives in the band The Sweetback Sisters. But lead singers Zara Bode and Emily Miller sing in such tight harmony that you might think they’ve been harmonizing since childhood. The Brooklyn-based band’s second album, “Looking for a Fight,” was recorded on analog tape and combines a throwback sound with an urban sophistication. The band joins us to perform live.
