Richard Simmons launched his "Sweatin’ to the Oldies" empire in 1988 – but exercise-oriented albums go back as far as the 1920s. We’re joined by historian and educator Jim Middleton to talk about the popular weight-loss phonograph records and songs of the jazz age. Then, Jeanine Detz, fitness director at Shape Magazine, tells us about some of the greatest hits of the aerobic era.
