Donovan asks Schnedierman: Have You Hired Any Minorities?

Republican Attorney General candidate Dan Donovan has a question for his Democratic opponent, State Senator Eric Schneiderman:

"Recent reports indicate you [Schneiderman] have hired a number of new people to your team, are any of them people of color? Is there anyone of color among your senior staffers? Since you have an obsessive preoccupation with asking us to opine about other campaigns on the Republican line, what is your excuse for the lack of any people of color (or women for that matter) on the Democratic line?"

The question came up after Schneiderman's camp tried associating Donovan to racially offensive emails forwarded by another Republican, gubernatorial nominee Carl Paladino.

UPDATE: Schneiderman consultant, Kevin Wardally, who is African-American, doesn't take the bait about answering how many minorities the campaign has hired, but shot back, "Is it Eric Schneiderman’s fault that Dan Donovan spent days saying he didn’t know if Carl Paladino’s emails using the 'N word' were offensive?"
