NY Governor David Paterson fired off a letter to the Seneca Nation of Indians saying they owe the state $214 million for 2009 and 2010.

Without payment within 14 days, Paterson says "the state is entitled to terminate the Nation-State Gaming Compact."

Paterson is seeking the money, saying the Indians owe back-taxes on cigarettes sold on the reservation.
