Christie Heads to NH for GOP Campaign

New Jersey News | Sep 24, 2012

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will travel to New Hampshire Tuesday for a fundraiser and rally for Republican gubernatorial candidate Ovide  Lamontagne.

It's the seventh day Christie has spent out of state in September.

The New Jersey Republican Party said it pays for his travel expenses except for the state police security detail, which comes out of the state budget.

So far this month, Christie has campaigned in North Carolina, Indiana, Iowa, Washington, D.C., and Missouri. When Christie is out of state, Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno becomes Acting Governor.
