Robert Randolph: Sacred Steel, Live In The Greene Space

The music of pedal steel virtuoso Robert Randolph has been described by legendary record producer Don Was as "equal parts street-corner church and Bonnaroo." With a style that marries traditional church-based sacred steel gospel music and funked-up blues and psychedelic rock, Randolph has transcended his signature instrument.

Robert Randolph & The Family Band are set to release their Blue Note Records debut Lickety Split (out July 16), and the group joins Soundcheck in the Greene Space for a preview of the rollicking new material.
