A pas de deux between avant-garde choreography and the passionate world of tango.
David Krakauer, composer/clarinetist and the fearless leader of Klezmer Madness!, discusses his a collaboration with the Japanese dance/choreography duo Eiko & Koma, called Offering, and plays live in our studio. The work will receive its world premiere at the Hudson River Festival. Bob Telson, the leader of Tanguardia, visits to talk about the group's different takes on tango before they hit Midsummer Night Swing at Lincoln Center. They also treat us to a live performance.
