Soundcheck | May 3, 2010
With a taste for the finer things in life, Fred Plotkin divides his time between being a music writer, commentator, and food critic. Having written such books as Classical Music 101 and Music for Beginners, Fred Plotkin can also be found as the author of Italy for the Gourmet Traveler. Today he visits the Soundcheck studio for a chat with host John Schaefer. And we also get a taste of Filipino music in the city, as guitarist Michael Dadap gives us a taste of a festival of music from his native country to be held at the Center for Traditional Music and Dance.
