Avishai Cohen

Soundcheck | May 3, 2010
Water and light… as jazz. Israeli composer and trumpet player Avishai Cohen is tackling two natural topics with his music at once. He composed a piece for an art installation about light to open at the Times Square Building this week. And his second CD for his big rain trilogy – Flood -- is about to come out. Avishai joins us to talk about both projects and to perform live with his trio.
