Lisa Batiashvili: from Tblisi to the Top

Lisa Batiashvili had an idyllic childhood growing up in Tblisi, Georgia until political unrest rocked the country in 1991. She and her family fled to Germany where she remains based today. But she’s also taking a growing interest in the music scene of her homeland and today she shares her new Sony recording which features, along with the Beethoven Violin Concerto, a set of pieces by Georgian composer Tsintsadze.
