Alice Tully's New Digs

Soundcheck | May 3, 2010
Since the modernized Alice Tully Hall was unveiled in New York this spring, the response has been strongly divided. Some praise the way the new design connects the venue to the surrounding neighborhood. Others consider it a disgrace to Lincoln Center's rich history. Joining us are Allan Kozinn, classical music critic of the New York Times; Suzanne Stephens, Deputy editor of Architectural Record; and Gregory Dietrich; a preservation consultant who was a co-author of Lincoln Center's nomination to the National Register of Historic Places.
