"Creators at Carnegie," from NPR, features pianist Richard Goode.

Evening Music continues the attention on Richard Goode by bringing you his performance of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 27, recorded with the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra.

Ottorino Respighi was born this day in 1879. His three tone poems that celebrate the city of Rome are justly beloved. The third, “Feste romane,” is a four-movement work that portrays holidays in each of the four seasons. Leonard Bernstein conduct the New York Philharmonic in Respighi’s answer to Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons.”
