Time Curve

Evening Music | May 6, 2010
Excerpts from William Duckworth’s “Time Curve Preludes” are played by pianist Neely Bruce. Listen for remote quotes of the famous Dies Irae and the employment of Fibanacci algorithms. Or just enjoy.

You’ll hear from our Spotlight guest as well. And be sure to stay tuned for flutist Jacques Zoon’s interpretation of the Mozart Flute Concerto No. 1 in G, with Martin Pearlman conducting the Boston Baroque. Three songs by Gavin Bryars will be performed by vocalist Holly Cole; Gavin Bryars himself plays the double bass while the CBC Orchestra supports one and all under Owen Underhill’s able baton.
