From the ongoing collaboration between New Sounds and the Ojai Music Festival, the San Diego-based percussion group red fish blue fish plays "Liquid Borders" by Mexican-based composer Gabriela Ortiz; American pianist Gloria Cheng plays Ge Gan Ru’s work “Gong” for prepared piano; the full company performs a work from Book of Angels by American iconoclast John Zorn; and there's a duo improvisation by kora virtuoso Seckou Keita and Iranian kamancheh master Kayhan Kalhor, all recorded live at the 2023 Ojai Music Festival. - Caryn Havlik
