Sir Richard Eyre and Clare Higgins

The Leonard Lopate Show | May 10, 2010
We wind down our series on collaboration with a behind the scenes look into theatre. A successful play requires collaboration on many fronts. Interaction between actors takes place in full view, but there are other key relationships that don’t happen before the audience. Sir Richard Eyre, former director of Britain's Royal National Theatre, and director of the Academy Award winning film, Iris, joins actor Clare Higgins to discuss the actor director relationship and their longtime collaboration.

Music: John Scofield "Blackout"
