Discovering Irén Marik

Fishko Files | May 18, 2010
Starting today, WNYC launches a week-long ‘MUST HAVE’ Festival of classical music. Each night this week during Evening Music, hosts such as Brian Lehrer, Leonard Lopate and Jonathan Schwartz will tell us about recordings they simply can’t live without. According to WNYC’s Sara Fishko, that list would have to include piano recordings by Irén Marik, whose recorded legacy has only just recently been unearthed. A tale of rediscovery...in this edition of The Fishko Files.
