#2096: Program #2096

New Sounds | May 24, 2010
The 2002 New Sounds Live/New York Guitar Festival featured a proudly eclectic lineup, with representatives from a variety of genres and national styles. Highlights of the four-venue, three-week extravaganza are on tap for this installment of New Sounds, including the sold-out tributes to late Rock n' Roll legends Jerry Garcia and George Harrison. Participants included the doo-wop singing outfit the Persuasions, New York's anything-goes ensemble Sex Mob, and guitarist Vernon Reid. Pepe Romero (pictured) and Justin Adams round out the program.
