Singer-songwriter Alejandro Escovedo began his career with punk pioneers The Nuns and the “cowpunk” act True Believers. He became a godfather of the roots-rock mecca in Austin, Texas.
He joins us to talk about teaming up with Bruce Springsteen and Mott the Hoople’s Ian Hunter on his tenth solo album, Street Songs of Love.
