Suozzi Concedes in Nassau County Exec Race

Nassau County executive Thomas Suozzi has conceded defeat in his re-election bid. The incumbent Suozzi had been the leader in earlier counts, but recently trailed Republican challenger Edward Mangano by about 400 votes. WNYC will bring you more details as they come in. Meanwhile, in the race for nassau county comptroller, Howard Weitzman has conceded to Republican challenger George Maragos. In a statement, Weitzman says the results of the election are not what he hoped for.
