NYC's War on Drugs, 40 Years On

It was during the Nixon administration that the language of waging a war on illegal drugs took root. After 40 years of emphasizing a law enforcement approach and different substances coming and going in waves, the actual supply and demand of drugs has not changed much. Joining us is Reporter Sean Gardiner, who helped write the latest issue of the magazine City Limits which focuses on the city’s war on drugs.
