Garden State Voters Still Unsure About Hillary Clinton

WNYC News | Jul 12, 2010

A new poll shows New Jersey voters still deeply divided about Senator Hillary Clinton's bid for the presidency. A Fairleigh Dickinson-PublicMind Poll out today found Clinton is the candidate one-third of New Jersey voters are least likely to support.

Clinton remains comfortably ahead of the field of Democrats seeking their party's nomination in New Jersey. But she also tops all candidates of both parties in the number of voters who view her negatively.

However, the poll revealed that resistance to Clinton softens if voters are reminded of the Iraq war before being asked about about her.
