Federal prosecutors say clerk at a video store helped launch an investigation that led to the arrests of six young men who are accused of plotting to launch a terrorist attack on Fort Dix.

REPORTER: US Attorney Chris Christie says the suspects asked the clerk to make a DVD of a video of six men firing weapons at a shooting range in Pennsylvania, calling for jihad and saying, God is great in Arabic. Chrstie says the men planned several different attacks.

CHRISTIE: They also covertly surveilled not only Fort Dix, but other places in New Jersey and Philadelphia.

REPORTER: Christie says the group checked out Fort Monmouth, the coast guard building in Philadelphia, and Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. He says the actions of the storekeeper shows a need for citizens to stay alert, and notify federal officials of suspicious activity.
